Types of invoice in international trade

An invoice for the construction industry does not necessarily have to be identical to a prepared invoice for a retail store. This is because invoices depend on whether they are services provided by time, hour or day, or whether products purchased or sold are manufactured. Due to these different requirements from different industries and also from different products and services, the invoices can have different types:

Standard account:

It is not labeled with this name, but this is for the convenience of a layman. This is a basic format for an invoice and can be used in the same format for various business transactions. This type of invoice consists of all the basic information that will be included in an invoice, such as: The unique invoice number, the name of the seller, the name of the company, the address, the contact details, the name of the buyer and the address, the items purchased, the total cost. This invoice format is used by several industries such as retail, agriculture, the Wholesale etc. used. We find the bill almost every day and this is the kind of bill that immediately comes to mind when we imagine one.

Commercial Invoice:

Unlike the daily bills we receive from large stores near the bookstore, a commercial invoice is a special invoice for documenting foreign trade, such as shipping machine parts from one country to another. It will be used for the customs declaration if the product exceeds the international limits. This includes the name and address of the seller (sender) and the buyer (recipient), the items sold, the cost of the items and the amount of tax payable. It contains certain special features such as the carrier’s identification number, the country of origin, the harmonized code for each article, the statement that the invoice is genuine, and the signature of the person responsible for the transaction. It can also contain some special hints and comments.

Progress calculation:

This type of bill is often used for jobs that span a long period of time. It is most commonly used in the construction industry because it is an industry that not only takes a lot of time for each project, but is also very expensive. From time to time, the contractors send invoices or pre-invoices indicating the progress of work, indicating the amount to be paid to them, because they pay the employees who work for them and also cover the costs incurred while working need current construction.

Time Sheet:

This is a special type of bill preferred by professionals whose services are evaluated on the basis of the time the service is provided. These bills are usually issued by consultants, psychotherapists, lawyers, teaching professors and, in the majority, all professionals whose services are intellectual rather than technical. Often, however, employee employment is based on time. These invoices typically specify “time” instead of “product.” If you rent an item such as a car, a crane, large kitchenware, tents, costumes or whatever, the time sheet invoice will also be created for all offers.
